Tata Technologies expands its 'Ready Engineer' Program

Sign an MoU with seven colleges in Bengaluru and Mysore

Anubhav Kapoor, General Counsel and Company Secretary, Tata Technologies who heads the Corporate Sustainability and CSR initiatives said, "India is the largest talent hub for all global industries today and it is critical to have an industry-ready workforce. The focus of this unique ‘Ready Engineers' program is to go beyond theoretical knowledge and help the students apply classroom theories with the aid of industry experts, thus increasing their industry awareness and connect. Through this program, we are able to address the industry demand by creating a high-quality employable engineering talent pool."

Speaking of the association, Prof. K N Subramanya, Principal, R V College of Engineering said, "We are very happy to associate with Tata Technologies for conducting training programs in Automotive Technologies for the students of Mechanical, Electronics and allied branches. RVCE would like to introduce the course as a part of curriculum with practical and experiential learning.  Credits will also be given to students. We are happy to associate with faculty and students of other institutions to promote and create body of knowledge along with rich experience of experts from Tata Technologies."

KRACKIN Technologies, a start-up based out of the NASSCOM 10000 Startup warehouse, Bangalore has been selected as the implementation partners for this program. The KRACKIN platform helps improve the industry-readiness of engineering students with right industry interventions through their web and mobile platforms.

The classroom model which started with one college in Pune in 2010 has since been expanded successfully in various colleges across the country. The program is already operational in 27 affiliated colleges in India and thousands of students have already benefited from this program.
