Representatives will be available to discuss the features and benefits of the products on display

Atlas Copco Compressors will showcase a range of compressed air and vacuum products, as well as its AIRnet piping system at the International Manufacturing Technology Show (IMTS) 2014.

"In order to remain competitive in a global market, it is important for manufacturers to work smarter and invest in the most energy efficient technologies for their operation," said Robert Eshelman, vice president, Industrial Air Division, Atlas Copco Compressors. "At Atlas Copco, we've been committed to sustainable productivity for more than 140 years which has resulted in our wide range of innovative, energy efficient and reliable products and technologies for the manufacturing industry."

Atlas Copco representatives will be available to discuss the features and benefits of the products on display, including the GA 7-15 VSD+ range of oil-injected rotary screw compressors that reduce energy consumption by up to 50 percent compared to a traditional load/unload compressor of the same type. Also on display, the ZT 15-22 range of oil-free rotary tooth compressors comply with ISO 8573-1 CLASS 0 (2010) certification to deliver 100% pure, clean air, suitable for applications demanding the highest levels of purity, such as automotive, machining and critical electronics manufacturing.

Other products on display include the GV 20-300 range of oil-sealed rotary vane vacuum pumps and Atlas Copco's AIRnet aluminum compressed air piping. The GV range delivers a clean and efficient supply of vacuum and features plug-and-play installation, low maintenance design and low noise and vibration levels throughout the pressure range. Also featuring a fast and easy installation, the AIRnet aluminum piping system installs 70 percent faster than conventional piping and eliminates the need for heavy machinery during installation. In addition, the lightweight material resists corrosion, minimizes pressure drops and is suitable for use with compressed air, vacuum and Nitrogen gas.

Hosted from September 8-13 at McCormick Place in Chicago, IMTS is one of the largest industrial trade shows in the world with nearly 2,000 exhibitors and 100,000 visitors from 112 countries around the world.  Representatives will be available at booth E-5672.
