Leading car manufacturer Honda Cars India Ltd (HCIL) has entered the MPV segment with the launch of its mid-size stylish 7-seater, Honda Mobilio. The Mobilio is set to expand the MPV segment and will appeal to diverse customer profiles from many vehicle segments.
Honda Mobilio is being manufactured at HCIL's facility in Greater Noida, UP with localisation level of more than 90 percent. And it has been developed at Honda R&D Asia Pacific Co, Ltd located in Bangkok, Thailand following extensive market surveys in India on people's driving needs and lifestyles. The Mobilio is driven by 1.5L i-DTEC diesel and 1.5L i-VTEC petrol engines.
The Mobilio will also be available in an exclusive sporty RS variant. The deliveries for the Mobilio RS would begin from September 2014.
