Battrixx, the future technologies division of Kabra Extrusiontechnik Ltd., has rebranded as GEON. A pioneer in green energy solutions, this transformation marks a significant milestone in its mission to empower lives by delivering reliable and affordable clean energy, paving the way for a sustainable future for all.
The brand unveiling took place at the GEON booth during the Bharat Mobility Expo, part of Bharat Mobility 2025, in New Delhi. This strategic shift underscores the company's expanded vision of connecting lives through intelligent green energy solutions.
Green Energy On reflects the company's broader vision for the future of green energy—powering everything from factories to homes. It symbolises their expanded product portfolio, which includes EV batteries, energy storage systems, advanced electronics, and software solutions that support the entire green energy ecosystem. This new identity represents a pivotal step towards establishing GEON as a global leader in clean, innovative energy solutions.
According to a recent report by the World Economic Forum, India is expected to invest over $35 billion annually in advanced energy solutions by 2030 (excluding solar and wind investments). Battery storage alone requires an annual investment of $9–10 billion.
At the heart of GEON's offerings are advanced EV solutions, featuring state-of-the-art battery packs designed for a range of vehicles, from two-wheelers to commercial vehicles. These include proprietary cell technology and advanced thermal management systems. GEON's integrated battery management systems, powered by AI analytics, enable real-time monitoring and predictive maintenance, setting new benchmarks in efficiency and reliability.
In addition, GEON's energy storage systems provide scalable solutions tailored to various applications, from residential and industrial to telecom and grid infrastructure, supporting India's rapidly growing renewable energy ecosystem.

GEON's commitment to manufacturing excellence is reflected in its ambitious investment plans. The company has allocated Rs 300 crore towards expanding domestic manufacturing capabilities, including a state-of-the-art facility in Chakan, Pune. This new facility has successfully doubled GEON's manufacturing capacity, cementing its leadership in the industry. A significant portion of the investment focuses on R&D, targeting next-generation battery technology and smart energy management systems.
To ensure operational continuity, GEON will maintain its current facilities while executing its strategic expansion plans. All existing products and services will remain uninterrupted under the new brand, supported by enhanced customer service capabilities.
