Dr. Landgrebe's presentation focused on the trends and progress in developing new forming processes such as combination of hydro-forming with injection molding, continuous orbital wrapping and 3D printing to replace sheet metal / metal parts with combination of plastic and metal.

Earlier in his address Mr. Indradev Babu, Vice President, IMTMA said, "the international seminar has been structured and designed to bring emerging needs in forming technology to users and manufacturers through a range of value added solutions in manufacturing."

Just before exhibiting the merchandize at IMTEX FORMING 2018, the technology designed to shape the future of Forming industry was intensely discussed at ISFT 2018. The seminar was divided into three parallel concurrent sessions under the broad subjects: Processes, Equipment & Software, and Materials & Tools.

The seminar brought together 22 National and International speakers from across the globe representing renowned companies such as Fraunhofer IWU, AIDA, Schuler, Dieffenbacher, AP&T, Laserline, Amada, MJC Engineering & Technology, Mahindra & Mahindra, Electropneumatics & Hydraulics, Autoform, IIT Bombay, Trumpf, and APM Technologies.
