"Government of India's Auto Mission Plan ( AMP) 2016-26 aims to make automobile manufacturing the main driver of ‘Make in India' initiative as passenger vehicles market is likely to triple to 9.4 million units by 2026 creating tremendous opportunity for machine tool industry," he added.
"IMTMA has acted as a catalyst in the overall development of the machine tool and manufacturing industry through its various initiatives such as exhibitions, seminars, summits, training of industry workforce for enhancing skill development through its Tech Centres. More than 100 trade delegations representing auto components, automobiles, railways, defence, aerospace, power and heavy engineering will be visiting the Expo in next four days." Said P.G. Welcoming the delegates, V. Anbu, Director General and CEO of IMTMA said, "We have 242 exhibitors displaying state-of-the-art technology solutions and innovations for both metal cutting and metal forming as well Metrology and Welding. Ten foreign countries Australia, Czech Republic, China, Germany, Italy, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, USA including India are participating in the show. We foresee a good visitor representation from Delhi as well as other industrial towns of Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Haryana during the four days show."
