Gamesa secures major 130 MW solar order

Gamesa, India's leading renewable energy company, has announced a new 130 MW solar project with Atria Power to be commissioned in Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh by March 2017. This is the biggest order since its entry into Indian Solar market in 2015. As per the new solar order, Gamesa will handle the complete value chain of Design & Engineering, Procurement, construction, commissioning and O&M of the project with the supply of 96 units of Gamesa E-1.37MW hybrid cooled solar inverter.

An indigenously developed product for Indian conditions, Gamesa E-1.37MW is the biggest MW scale inverter in India till date with outstanding reactive power capabilities, Strictest grid integration compliance, Advanced hybrid Liquid and air cooling technology to optimize energy harvesting. Having drawn its core design philosophy from wind converters, Gamesa solar inverters enjoy a level of operational sophistication in ensuring maximum performance in the harshest conditions.

Speaking about the first solar order from Atria, Mr. Ramesh Kymal, Chairman and Managing Director, Gamesa India said, "We are happy to announce the solar order from Atria Power.
