Montra Electric and Magenta Mobility have entered into a strategic partnership to accelerate the adoption of electric vehicles (EVs) in India's logistics sector. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed by Saju Nair, Chief Executive Officer, TIVOLT Electric Private Limited (SCV division of Montra Electric), and Maxson Lewis, Managing Director and CEO, Magenta Mobility.
As part of the agreement, TIVOLT Electric Vehicles will supply 100 units of the newly launched EVIATOR E350L electric vehicle to Magenta Mobility, a leading provider of EV-based logistics solutions. These vehicles will be deployed across various sectors including FMCG, grocery, e-commerce, and telecom operations, significantly enhancing Magenta Mobility's capacity to deliver efficient, sustainable logistics services.
Unveiled at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo, the EVIATOR E350L sets new industry benchmarks with its class-leading specifications, superior performance, and advanced software-defined vehicle (SDV) and telematics systems. Montra Electric will also offer customised servicing and charging solutions to ensure optimal uptime and operational efficiency for the fleet.
This collaboration aims to boost EV penetration in the small commercial vehicle (e-SCV) segment, particularly in the 4-wheeler category. With a focus on improving daily mileage, supporting intercity transport, and elevating driver comfort and safety, the partnership is poised to reshape the landscape of EV logistics in India.
