Varroc Lighting Systems is increasing its production capacity in key emerging markets with the opening of a new production plant in Vietnam, strengthening its ability to deliver the most advanced technology to customers in the region.
The new plant, located about 30 minutes outside of Hanoi, is based on the success of the two-wheel lights of Triom, an Italian lighting company controlled mainly by Varroc, and positions Varroc Lighting to better serve the four-wheel lighting market.
"Our presence in Vietnam with Triom has been very successful over the past five years, said Stephane Vedie, president and CEO of Varroc Lighting Systems. "With this expansion, we now have an opportunity to capitalize on that success, and our new plant puts us in a strong competitive position to support new and existing two- and four-wheeler customers in the ASEAN region."
The new plant will employ over 120 employees and has the potential to expand further into the future.
