ARAI extends its services to Central India with new workplace at NATRAX, Indore

This facility will carry out advanced vehicle dynamics testing, evaluation of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), and other related tests.

The Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI), the country's premier mobility research, testing, and certification organisation under the aegis of the Ministry of Heavy Industries, Government of India, has inaugurated its office-cum-vehicle testing workplace at NATRAX, Indore. The facility was inaugurated by Dr Reji Mathai, Director of ARAI, in the presence of Shri Abdul Jabbar Akbar Badusha, Senior Deputy Director and Head of the Vehicle Evaluation Laboratory, along with senior colleagues and a delegation of customers.

With the growing demands of the dynamic Indian automotive industry, ARAI has established this facility to carry out advanced vehicle dynamics testing, evaluation of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), and other related tests.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Reji Mathai said, "The Indian mobility sector is continuously evolving with disruptive technologies and, therefore, requires seamless collaboration among stakeholders. We are pleased to announce a new initiative – the ARAI Vehicle Evaluation Lab Workplace – which will offer our specially curated service portfolio from the NATRAX facility in Indore. This initiative will enable us to realise our full potential and further support manufacturers with their certification, homologation, and vehicle dynamics-related testing and validation needs."

The ARAI Vehicle Evaluation Lab Workplace will serve the mobility sector, including vehicle manufacturers, vehicular system suppliers, and tyre manufacturers across the country.
