The awards honour the exceptional achievements of Ola's women-led teams, hailing from rural areas, who spearheaded initiatives in the paint shop, motor shop, general assembly line, battery shop, and welding shop.

Ola Electric, India's leading pure-play EV manufacturer, has reached a historic milestone as its all-women workforce at the Ola Futurefactory clinched five Gold Awards at the 49th International Convention on Quality Control Circles (ICQCC). Hosted in Sri Lanka this November, the event saw participation from industry giants spanning 14 nations. Ola Electric now holds the distinction of being the first Indian EV manufacturer to win at this scale, reinforcing its position as a global leader in quality, innovation, and operational efficiency.

The awards honour the exceptional achievements of Ola's women-led teams, hailing from rural areas, who spearheaded initiatives in the paint shop, motor shop, general assembly line, battery shop, and welding shop. These projects focused on cost optimisation, quality and safety improvements, and productivity enhancements—aligned with Ola's vision of sustainability and inclusivity.

An Ola spokesperson expressed pride in this landmark achievement, stating, "This recognition at ICQCC underscores our commitment to excellence, driven by the remarkable women at our Futurefactory, who are redefining the EV revolution. By setting new benchmarks in a traditionally male-dominated domain, we are proud to lead this transformative shift in India's automotive manufacturing landscape and remain committed to fostering greater diversity on our shop floors."

Located in Krishnagiri, Tamil Nadu, the Ola Futurefactory is India's largest fully integrated and automated electric two-wheeler manufacturing facility. It produces the award-winning Ola S1 scooters and key vehicle components, including battery packs, motors, and vehicle frames.
