Aequs Infra, a prominent name in industrial infrastructure, has launched South India's first FMCG Manufacturing Ecosystem at the Hubballi Consumer Goods Cluster (HDC) in North Karnataka. This unique initiative, inaugurated by Shri M.B. Patil, Karnataka's Minister for Large Industries and Infrastructure, marks a pivotal step in positioning North Karnataka as a major hub for FMCG manufacturing and export.

Speaking at the ceremony, Minister Patil highlighted Aequs Infra's pioneering role, lauding Chairman & CEO Aravind Melligeri for his forward-thinking "Beyond Bengaluru" approach that has established industrial parks in North Karnataka, catalysing regional growth, job creation, and GDP expansion.

The FMCG Manufacturing Ecosystem at Hubballi is designed to support scalable, efficient manufacturing, enabling companies within a 400-kilometre radius to tap into both domestic and export markets more effectively. K. Ullas Kamath, Chairman of FICCI Karnataka State Council, applauded the development, emphasising the Hubli-Dharwad region's strategic advantages, including skilled labor, educational institutions, and robust connectivity by road, rail, and air.

Vikram Annappa, Managing Director of Aequs Infra, shared the vision driving this initiative: "This ecosystem sets a new standard for manufacturing excellence, supporting our mission to transform North Karnataka into a global hub for FMCG production. We are committed to building world-class infrastructure that fosters long-term growth and job creation."

The Karnataka Government has introduced an incentive package to support businesses at the Hubballi FMCG Ecosystem, including a Capital Investment Subsidy of 20 per cent of the Value of Fixed Assets and a 3 per cent performance-linked incentive on annual turnover, valid for five years.

Aequs Infra's FMCG ecosystem at Hubballi is expected to bring significant growth and thousands of jobs to the region, further solidifying North Karnataka's industrial base and advancing the "Make in Karnataka, Make for India and the World" mission.
