EKA Mobility collaborates with Skyline Motors

The partnership aims to deploy electric buses in Uttarakhand

EKA Mobility (Pinnacle Mobility Solutions Pvt Ltd.), a subsidiary of Pinnacle Industries, announced their partnership with Skyline Motors (India) Pvt Ltd., for deployment of nine electric buses in Uttarakhand.

Covering a daily distance of 300 kilometres, the e-buses are operating on the Dehradun-Rishikesh route via Haridwar. The deployment is designed to support Uttarakhand's green transportation goals while reducing carbon emissions.

The nine metre AC bus, featuring a seating capacity of 35+1 and with a floor height of 900 mm, is equipped with a 200kW battery. This deployment marks the company's first intercity operation.

Commenting on the partnership, Rohit Srivastava, Chief Growth Officer, EKA Mobility, said, "This partnership marks an exciting step forward for EKA because it supports Uttarakhand's ambition to become a hub for sustainable transport."
