Tata Power Skill Development Institute (TPSDI) has been awarded with ISO 29990:2010 and ISO 9001:2015 dual certification by the Bureau Veritas, a certification body accredited by the National Accreditation Board.

The ISO 29990:2010 certification is a highly specialised standard for Learning Services Providers. Its scope of certification covers 19 processes including the areas of training in content development, delivery, impact assessments and evaluation. The ISO 9001:2015 certification is for Quality Management System and is one of the most widely used standards in the world.

The dual certification substantiates the operational excellence and standards practices pursued by TPSDI, established in 2015 by India's largest integrated power company Tata Power, to enhance employability amongst youth and addressing the skill gap challenge faced by the Indian Power and allied sectors.
