DFT is the latest global technology in the field of steel pipes, used for making Hollow sections of superior quality and finish. The technology has been introduced for the very first time in India by APL Apollo Tubes.

This technology, unlike conventional technologies, can form rectangular and square hollow sections of different sizes and thickness directly, thus translating into huge cost-savings and better productivity at both the customer and Company level.

The Company recently commissioned its three DFT lines at its plants at Hossur and Raipur will enable the company to expand its footprint in the advanced economies like UK, US and Canada and meet the growing demand in the country.

These new products have received a strong response across the customer base and will help supplement APL Apollo's presence in the existing product categories, while also creating new avenues of growth. The Company has already developed new customizable sizes through this cutting-edge technology.
