Scania inaugurated its truck plant in October, 2013 and since then company has attained wide popularity for its premium products and services. Scania is the first truck manufacturer in India to deliver 200 P 410 (8x4) mining tippers to BGR in March 2015, making it India's largest single order to date.

Another milestone that Scania recently achieved was certification of R 580 as the first on-road puller in India, R 580 with V8 engine is the most powerful truck in the country. Other products that Scania manufacture in India include G 410 (6x2) tipper, G 460 (6x4) truck and premium intercity Metrolink series of buses.
