One of the key highlights at Renishaw's booth was an interactive display that takes visitors through a CNC process control journey. Desale explained, "Manufacturers often face challenges on the shop floor, from setting components and tools correctly to inspecting parts efficiently. Traditionally, these processes required manual intervention, but our interactive display lets visitors see firsthand how automation simplifies these tasks."
Renishaw also introduced Renishaw Central, a smart manufacturing data platform that collects metrology data from the shop floor and provides actionable insights to enhance efficiency. Another major launch was the RMP24, the world's smallest wireless micro probe, offering high-precision measurements in compact spaces. Additionally, the company revamped its metrology fixturing kit, ensuring better calibration and optimisation of manufacturing processes.
Beyond these product innovations, Renishaw is redefining what automation means. "Automation isn't just about robots," Desale emphasised. "Whether you have one machine or a thousand, whether you're a small, medium, or large manufacturer, automation should be accessible to all. Even something as simple as automating CNC processes can significantly boost productivity and contribute to economic growth."
Visitors to the Renishaw booth could explore a range of solutions, including equator gauging systems, CMM tools, fixture calibration, and encoders, all designed to streamline operations on the shop floor.
