An interview with Cyril Pereira, Managing Director of Reed Exhibitions.

After couple of years, AMTEX is back to Delhi. What are your thoughts on the same?

It is very exciting to have AMTEX in Delhi, not just because Delhi has become a prime spot of industrial business but due to its prospects as it bridges the scope for global investment. Adding edge to the advantage, the potential that Delhi and NCR regions presents is sure to take the prospects of the region northwards. National Capital Region's (NCR) largest market, significant resources and conducive investment policies make northern states a preferred investment location. At a time when the global industry is in a mode of complete expansion, NCR is proactive in showcasing its capabilities. Regions like Gurgaon and Noida have attracted MNCs who have in turn made way for R&D activities in this region.

What are the highlights of AMTEX 2016?

More than 450 exhibitors are going to display their technological prowess on gross total area of 2,00,000 sqft in this edition of the event. The exhibition has four international pavilions from China, Singapore, Taiwan and Korea. Live product demonstrations and Exclusive Conference Programme, having 25+ speakers and over 150 senior level delegates is one of the highlights of the show. Additionally, we have also launched Business Matchmaking programme to arrange assured meetings during the exhibition between the exhibitor and visitor.
