Sterling and Wilson Private Limited, a Shapoorji Pallonji Group Company, and one of India's leading engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) companies, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with DataVolt Information Technology Company of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The MOU intends to develop and construct data centres in accordance with the highest international standards in respective countries.
The MoU was signed by leaders of both companies on the sidelines of the on-going Indo-Saudi Business during G20 Summit in New Delhi, India. This collaboration was formalised on September 11, 2023, immediately following the Group of 20 (G20) Summit held in New Delhi, India, as part of an initiative to strengthen bonds between India and Saudi Arabia.
The data centres will leverage DataVolt's aid in Project Development along with Sterling and Wilson's designing and building large scale sustainable DCs.
