Gogoro Inc., a global leader in sustainable mobility solutions through battery-swapping ecosystems, has unveiled a significant partnership with Swiggy, India's premier on-demand convenience delivery platform.
The collaboration aims to drive the adoption of electric vehicles (EVs) in India's hyperlocal delivery fleets. Under this alliance, Swiggy will actively promote Gogoro's Electric Smartscooters to its last-mile delivery partners across the country.
Horace Luke, CEO, Gogoro, emphasised the strategic importance of this partnership, citing it as a crucial step in the electrification of India's urban fleets. The integration of Gogoro's battery swapping technology into Swiggy's operations is expected to facilitate a seamless transition to sustainable electric transportation, enhancing both environmental responsibility and business efficiency.
