“ Haryana Government's this move is a promise of quality and global standards”

The Government of Haryana introduces the Quality Assurance Authority (QAA), a pioneering initiative to ensure high quality in engineering projects led by the State Government and State-owned organisations. To achieve this, the government partners with the Quality Council of India (QCI), the apex organisation responsible for national accreditation and quality improvement.

The QAA's main focus will be overseeing engineering projects, ensuring exceptional quality, adherence to best practices, and timely execution. This move highlights the government's dedication to creating world-class infrastructure that meets international standards.

To bolster the QAA's efficiency, the Government of Haryana seeks QCI's expertise in establishing a robust Project Management Unit (PMU). The PMU will streamline project execution, enhance monitoring, and optimise resource allocation, serving as the core of the QAA's operations. QCI will also assist in preparing comprehensive Detailed Project Reports for successful project execution and accountability.

Recognising the importance of skilled personnel, QCI will conduct capacity-building programs for QAA officials, empowering them with the latest knowledge and skills. Additionally, QCI will play a significant role in shaping the QAA's architecture and involving relevant stakeholders in the infrastructure domain.

The collaboration with QCI is expected to enhance the QAA's capabilities, leading to landmark engineering projects that exemplify Haryana's commitment to progress and development. The establishment of the QAA signifies a defining moment in the state's infrastructure development, reinforcing the Government of Haryana's vision for a vibrant and sustainable future for its citizens.
