Cognizant has announced that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Garuda Aerospace, to power its drones with advanced digital capabilities, thus bringing innovative solutions for enterprises aiming to achieve greater agility, productivity, and overall outcomes.

Cognizant and Garuda Aerospace will provide drone-based management and monitoring offerings to several business sectors. For the agriculture sector, it provides intelligent water and soil management, crop spraying, aerial planting, etc.
For energy and utilities, an aerial intelligence solution helps in asset inspection, storm impact assessment, and fire safety, among other operational areas. In warehouse management, drones can be used for inventory audits, product tracking, video surveillance, and even help move lightweight objects. These solutions will also enable businesses to achieve sustainability by increasing efficiency in the use of resources.

The collaboration will provide Cognizant associates across its service lines, including, analytics, and IoT, among others, the opportunity to work on drone projects and real-life applications. Additionally, associates keen to become trained drone pilots will have access to Garuda Aerospace's training facilities.
