The company has started manufacturing its globally acclaimed, advanced DN Series™ cash dispensing and cash recycling machines in a manufacturing facility located in India's IT hub - Bengaluru. This equipment encourages the company's commitment to ‘Make in India'.
The dedicated plant has been set up with its contract manufacturing partner in India, NASH Industries. Bengaluru becomes a natural choice for such investments by Diebold Nixdorf keeping in mind its proximity to ports, ancillaries' setup, and talent pool. This latest manufacturing establishment covers an area of approximately 27,000 square feet possessing an inbuilt capacity of annually manufacturing more than 18,000 machines. The company has started rolling out the machines to its customers. This action will also provide the company with a chance to comply with any potential change in future demand.
This investment in infrastructure expansion adds to the list of many other previous investments made by Diebold Nixdorf in the last 25 years in India. The company has also engaged itself in the development of many Global Development Centres in Mumbai and Hyderabad, and holds an existing strength of more than 2,000 direct employees in the country.
