“Q3 FY25 results: Kirloskar Pneumatic reports 10 per cent revenue growth and higher order book”

Kirloskar Pneumatic Company Ltd (KPCL), a leading player in India's air, refrigeration, and gas compression sector, has announced its financial results for Q3 FY25. 

Revenue from operations and profit before tax (PBT) grew by over 10 per cent compared to the same quarter last year, reaching Rs 340 crore, with PBT of Rs 48 crore (Rs 47 crore in Q3 FY24), which accounts for 13.9 per cent of sales. 

As of 1 January 2025, the order book stood at approximately Rs 1,879 crore, reflecting a 27 per cent increase from Rs 1,475 crore at the start of the financial year. The compression business remains the core revenue driver, contributing around 94 per cent of the company's total revenue. 

KPCL has successfully completed the acquisition of a 55.26 per cent stake in  Systems & Components India Private Limited, a key player in refrigeration solutions for the pharmaceutical, chemical, and dairy industries. The integration process is now underway to enhance competitiveness. 

Additionally, the company's recently launched products—Tezcatlipoca, Calana, Aria, and Jarilo—have gained strong market acceptance, driving increased order inflows. KPCL has also entered an exclusive distribution agreement with Universal MEP Projects & Engineering Services Limited (UMPESL), a Voltas Ltd subsidiary, for supplying compressors to the textile industry.

·        Basic EPS: Rs 5.55 per share vs. Rs5.40 per share in Q3 FY24 

·        Interim dividend: Rs 3.50 per share (175 per cent) vs. Rs2.50 per share (125 per cent ) in Q3 FY24
