CERATIZIT, a world-renowned high-technology engineering group specialising in cutting tools and hard material solutions, has recently inaugurated its participation at IMTEX 2025 at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC). The ceremonial inauguration at Stall B110, Hall 3A, was led by Melissa Albeck, Member of the Executive Board, alongside Andreas Fritz, President of CERATIZIT Asia Pacific, and Anil Kumar, Managing Director of CERATIZIT India.

At IMTEX 2025, CERATIZIT is highlighting its role as a complete solutions provider while reinforcing its commitment to sustainability under the theme "Tooling a Sustainable Future."

 A Vision for Sustainability

CERATIZIT is at the forefront of sustainable manufacturing, with a clear mission to achieve Net Zero emissions by 2040. The company has set ambitious targets, aiming for a 35 per cent reduction in CO₂ emissions by 2025 and 60 per cent by 2030 through energy-efficient processes and innovative technologies. By 2040, CERATIZIT plans to achieve a 90 per cent reduction in greenhouse gas emissions across Scopes 1, 2, and 3, with any remaining emissions offset through CO₂ compensation projects.

Speaking at the inauguration, Melissa Albeck reaffirmed the company's commitment: "Sustainability is not just a goal—it is our mission. It lies at the heart of our innovations, driving us to develop solutions that deliver exceptional performance while minimising environmental impact through energy-efficient processes and a circular approach to raw materials."

With initiatives such as upGRADE powders, made entirely from reclaimed raw materials, and a 95 per cent  tungsten recycling rate, CERATIZIT is leading the industry's transition towards a sustainable future.

Andreas Fritz, President of CERATIZIT Asia Pacific, added: "Our advanced technologies are helping industries meet their carbon reduction goals. With tools designed to lower energy consumption and enhance operational efficiency, we are leading the way in creating a more sustainable future for generations to come."
