“PURE EV announces nationwide expansion”

PURE EV, a leading name in India's electric two-wheeler market, has announced an ambitious roadmap to bolster its presence across the country and expand internationally, while introducing cutting-edge solutions for sustainable mobility. Over the next 30 months, the company aims to establish 250 new dealerships, taking its total network to over 320 nationwide. This expansion is driven by increasing demand for long-range scooters, electric motorcycles, substantial B2B contracts, and PURE EV's ambition to become a household brand.

Dr. Nishanth Dongari, Founder and MD of PURE EV, emphasised the company's dedication to safety and innovation, stating, "PURE EV is the first company to integrate Nano PCM (Phase Change Material) into its battery systems for efficient thermal management. This pioneering technology eliminates risks associated with thermal incidents, ensuring unmatched safety and boosting consumer confidence."

Dr. Dongari also highlighted the enhanced performance achieved through this technology, noting, "Our adoption of Nano PCM has not only brought our incident rate to zero but also significantly improved battery performance. Over 20,000 customers across India have crossed 40,000 km each and are continuing their journeys with confidence."

Focusing on motorcycles, which dominate 70% of India's two-wheeler market, PURE EV has launched two models: the ecoDryft, catering to the 110cc segment, and the eTryst, targeting the 125cc segment. Both models utilise PURE EV's advanced X-Platform, offering an impressive mileage of 171 km per charge and innovative features such as HillHold, Coasting Regen, and Reverse Mode for a superior riding experience.

The X-Platform further integrates predictive AI and cloud technologies to enhance battery and powertrain longevity beyond 50,000 km. These systems provide real-time updates on vehicle health and predictive driving insights, improving operational efficiency for dealers and delivering a seamless ownership experience for customers. Plans are underway to launch generative AI-powered customer support services, ensuring personalised communication in regional languages and timely service delivery.

PURE EV has also prioritised large B2B contracts as a key growth driver. Recent collaborations include supplying over 300 e-motorcycles to the Tamil Nadu Forest Department and Tata Power in Odisha, showcasing the increasing adoption of electric motorcycles in fleet operations.

On the global front, PURE EV exports to Nepal and Bhutan and plans to enter the Middle East and African markets by Q4 of the 2024–25 financial year. This marks a major milestone in the company's journey towards becoming a global player in electric mobility.

Additionally, PURE EV is set to introduce PuREPower in 2025, a revolutionary power backup solution built on its battery and powertrain platform. PuREPower is designed for household applications, offering 3x more surge power and 2x the lifespan compared to existing systems. The system can integrate with renewable energy sources and features an AI-powered user experience. Dr. Dongari remarked, "PuREPower will redefine how we power our homes, providing uninterrupted energy and aligning with sustainability and net-zero goals."
