“Raptee.HV unveils India's first high-voltage electric motorcycle, T30, compatible with car charging stations”

Raptee.HV, the Chennai-based EV startup, has launched India's first high-voltage electric motorcycle, leveraging advanced electric car technology. This innovative motorcycle delivers performance on par with 250-300cc ICE vehicles, with significantly reduced heat. It also stands out as the first two-wheeler in India compatible with car charging stations, featuring an onboard charger for use at the 13,500 CCS2 stations nationwide.

Priced competitively at Rs 2.39 lakhs, the motorcycle offers an impressive IDC estimated range of 200 km and real-world range of over 150 km per charge. It accelerates from 0 to 60 kmph in under 3.5 seconds. The battery pack, rated IP67 for safety and quality, comes with an 8-year or 80,000 km warranty, comparable to electric cars.

The Raptee.HV T30 also integrates advanced software and a custom-built operating system based on automotive-grade Linux, delivering a responsive and intuitive riding experience. Available in four colours—Horizon Red, Arctic White, Mercury Grey, and Eclipse Black—the T30 will be delivered in Chennai and Bangalore starting January, with plans to expand to other key cities.

Dinesh Arjun, Co-founder & CEO, stated, "Our goal was to innovate the motorcycle industry by incorporating electric car tech into two-wheelers. This launch is a testament to what vision and focus on innovation can achieve."

Raptee.HV has closed its Pre-Series A funding round, led by Bluehill Capital and Artha99 Ventures, and is in the final stages of closing its Series A round to support production, expansion, and growth in the electric mobility market.
