“Biesse achieves milestone of 10,000 Made-in-India machine exports to over 75 countries”

Biesse, a global leader in woodworking machinery and manufacturer of integrated lines for processing wood, glass, stone, plastic, and composite materials, has reached a significant milestone by exporting 10,000 machines from India to more than 75 countries across six continents. This achievement underscores the global demand for Biesse's premium products and services, as well as the company's commitment to the "Make in India" initiative and the export of high-quality machinery to developed nations.

This success is largely attributed to Biesse's effective integration and localisation of European expertise, skills, and technology within its Indian operations. The company offers premium machinery that adheres to European standards, further exemplifying its dedication to excellence. Currently, Biesse exports approximately 80 per cent of its total production worldwide.

Sayeed Ahmed, CEO of Biesse India, commented on the milestone, stating, "Biesse's manufacturing facility in Bangalore is the largest outside Italy, significantly contributing to India and its major markets. We empower our employees with advanced manufacturing skills, enabling them to produce world-class machines."

Ahmed added, "Our continuous focus on scaling up production and enhancing workforce skills reflects the dedication and expertise of our team. Biesse is poised for exponential growth in the coming years, aiming to increase our market share in sectors such as glass, stone, and advanced materials, thereby establishing ourselves as a provider of solutions for multi-material processing."

In addition to exporting machines globally, Biesse India is sending trained engineers to its subsidiaries to support markets supplied with machines from India. The Indian government's initiatives to impose trade barriers against substandard imports have further bolstered the demand for high-quality, made-in-India products. The rising need for BIS-certified machinery, alongside increased factory automation and growth in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities, is projected to significantly enhance Biesse's sales.

Biesse is also expanding its product range and investing in product development to better serve its markets by addressing the production challenges faced by customers globally. The company boasts a skilled technical product team dedicated to continuous innovation and working on new projects to improve customer service.
