Panasonic Life Solution's, System Solutions Division (SSD), recently launched its AI-enabled anti-ligature i-PRO Corner Camera for institutional surveillance. The camera has been specifically designed for institutions like prisons (both central and state), rehabilitation centres and mental hospitals.
The camera, compact in nature, IK11 complaint, is able to withstand a 70 Joule (70J) impact which exceeds the common IK10 (20J) impact ratings of similar devices. The 5-megapixel camera supports a wide-angle view and illuminates up to 15 meters using a 940nm wavelength.

The i-PRO Corner Camera is water and dust-resistant with additional features including, AI Face Detection, AI Occupancy Detection, AI Scene Change Detection, and AI Vehicle Detection.
