Odssye, a leader in the Indian Electronic Vehicle (EV) market is set to extend its reach in more than 150 cities. This expansion showcases the company's dedication to driving adoption of EV across India, brining sustainable and efficient transportation to a wider audience. The new operations commenced on August 15, 2024 marking a crucial step in the company's expansion.
The company's operations will expand in 17 states across the country. Odysse scooters will be available in Haryana, Punjab along with expanding its presence in the existing states of Bihar, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan amongst the others.
Odysse Electric has established new dealerships in Odisha (Behlangir), Maharashtra (Virar), Gujarat (Bhuj), Karnataka (Bnagalore), and Uttar Pradesh (Kanpur) to provide full range of the company's electric models, including both low-speed and high-speed variants.
Commenting on the occasion, Nemin Vora, CEO of Odysse Electrics, emphasised on Odysse's mission of making electric mobility accessible to every corner of the country. He also expressed that the expansion would allow them to cater to a wider audience, meet the needs of growing demand of EV and contribute to a sustainable future for India.
The expansion takes place at a significant time with India's increasing demand for EV, driven by factors such as favourable government policies, growing environmental awareness and the rising cost of conventional fuel.
