Today, automotive OEMs as well as their suppliers are increasingly acknowledging and accepting the value that plastics offer in terms of light-weighting, design flexibility, cost competitiveness, durability and fuel efficiency.
Machine and materials suppliers are also stretching their limits to enable automakers keep pace with the emerging technologies and trends in terms of adopting plastics.
In this scenario, ‘The Economic Times Polymers' (ET Polymers) - India's Premium Magazine for the Polymers Value Chain - recognises the need to create a knowledge-based networking platform for these various stakeholders to come together and make the most of each other's expertise and experience. Thus, playing the role of a facilitator and enabler, ET Polymers has conceptualised and created its ‘Global Conference on Plastics in Automotive (GCPA). GCPA will be held on September 22 at a Five Star location in Mumbai. The exact venue will be announced soon.
