TATA AutoComp has inaugurated its manufacturing facility for cabins for tractors and off-highway equipment in collaboration with FORTACO. Safety cabin manufacturing will be made by Tata AutoComp based on the technology, design, and specifications by FORTACO. This association supports the Tractor and Off-highway OEMs for safe and reliable cabins. Tata AutoComp and FORTACO will deliver the cabins to key Tractor and Off-highway OEMs, which will be fitted on their tractors sold in the domestic and international markets.
The inauguration ceremony took place on 7th November 2023, at TATA AutoComp's Composite Division Manufacturing Facility in Chakan, Pune.
Arvind Goel, Chairman, Tata AutoComp, said "The Off-Highway vehicle market is developing rapidly in India and demand for safety and comfort have started increasing amongst users. With strong design and technology collaboration with Fortaco, this new cabin facility will offer safe, comfortable cabins to the Tractor and Off Highway industry, thereby strengthening our presence in these segments across India and Global Markets."
