Godawari Electric Motors completes homologation sets safety standards for EVs in India

The certification has been received for its upcoming L1 Eblu Feo e-scooter which has been approved to meet the highest global standards for batteries (AIS) 156 phase 2.

Godawari Electric Motors, manufacturers of the Eblu range of products, announced that it has received the homologation certificate for its L1 e-scooter Eblu Feo. This scooter is fitted with a 60Volt 42Ah lithium-ion battery which has been approved to meet the highest global standards for batteries (AIS) 156 phase 2. 

Mandated by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, the Phase 2 amendments to AIS-156 dictate the highest safety and performance for electric vehicles on Indian roads. Eblu Feo, a complete electric scooter built to cater to family needs, is Godawari Electric Motors' new and upcoming addition to its Eblu range.  

The Eblu Feo will come equipped with desirable features and have best-in-class mileage, safety, optimum scooter height and weight, along with enough leg room to accommodate a gas cylinder, delivering comfort and convenience to the customers. The e-scooter will also include three driving modes and will be capable to do a maximum speed of up to 60km/hr.

The Eblu Feo will be launched in 5 vibrant colors, at an attractive price for customers in India in the third quarter of 2023 in India.
