AMETEK India Opens New Facility In Bengaluru

The new facility has a service centre and calibration services that are supported by a workforce of over 600 employees.

 

AMETEK India, a subsidiary of AMETEK Inc, has inaugurated its state-of-the-art facility in Bengaluru that will provide enhanced support to its customers across India and around the world.

Having started operations in 2009, AMETEK India continues to meet customer requirements with its innovative products and differentiated technology solutions. The establishment is an expansion of AMETEK's hub of innovation that caters to several industries including aerospace & defence, automotive, food, pharma and packaging, high precision metrology, material analyses, oil & gas, and power.

The facility also includes a Centre of Excellence that features the latest products from numerous AMETEK businesses, including Spectro, Taylor Hobson, Land, Atlas, Brookfield, Zygo, compliance test solutions, programmable power, Lloyd, Precitech TMC and AMT. The centre will not only allow businesses to present their capabilities via in-person demonstrations of their products and solutions but will also accommodate service and calibration labs.

The new facility also houses a well-equipped ‘Engineering Center of Excellence' with R&D laboratories that support the company's business units across its global network for design, development, and prototype testing activities.

The opening event took place in the presence of AMETEK employees, customers, distributors, and partners. AMETEK executive leadership team, including Wes Hardin, President, AMETEK's Electronic Instruments Group; Tony Ciampitti, President, AMETEK's Electronic Instruments Group, Metrology and Materials Analysis; Emanuela Speranza, Chief Commercial Officer; Chris Maetzig, Vice President, and General Manager of AMETEK's Ultra Precision Technology Division, as well as other business leaders from across the company graced the occasion.
