In another frenzy of shuffling the management team, Jaguar Land Rover has announced appointment of Nick Rogers as the new Engineering Director. He will succeed Dr Wolfgang Ziebart, who will focus on technology development for Jaguar Land Rover.

Rogers will assume board-level responsibilities for Jaguar Land Rover's global engineering operations, reporting directly to Chief Executive Dr Ralf Speth.

Speaking on the new appointment, Dr Speth said, "Nick has worked for Jaguar Land Rover for more than 30 years and has broad experience across engineering, manufacturing, and product delivery. His experience, skills, passion, and dedication to Jaguar Land Rover will make him a great leader for the engineering team."

Currently, Jaguar Land Rover employs 8000 engineers and technologists based at two UK product development centres at Gaydon and Whitley, and an Advanced Research Centre at the University of Warwick. It is one of UK's largest exporters.
