Takes home the trophy in the metal cutting industry.

The trophy was received by Gautam Ahuja, Managing Director of Dormer Pramet India, along with his two team members (in centre). It was presented by Suresh KV, President of ZF India (far left) and Prof Madhu Ranjan, Emeritus Professor, College of Engineering, Pune (far right).

Dormer Pramet has been recognized as a ‘Best Brand' in the Indian metal cutting industry. The Economic Times Best Brands initiative* highlights companies that have gained customer confidence and maintained their positions within specific industry sectors. The felicitation ceremony was held in Pune on November 19, 2019.

In this category, Best Brands featured the key players from the Indian metal cutting industry, analyzing their overall performance, based on their product offer, market presence and brand awareness. The leading companies were shortlisted and made to go through further assessment based on publicly available data before making the final list.

Gautam Ahuja, Managing Director of Dormer Pramet India, said: "This is an excellent initiative which recognizes our company's position in the metalworking industry and the hard work being undertaken by the whole team.

"Building our brand is a big driver in establishing our position in India. We do that by hiring the best people and making sure we provide the best products and services available.

"We work as a team with partners and suppliers to achieve results for the end-user. This is extremely important to us. Every step of the process needs to work as effectively as possible and we are committed to helping our customers carry out their machining processes in the most efficient way."

*The Economic Times (ET) Best Brands is a forum started by ET Edge (an Economic Times Initiative) to recognise the Best Brands in different industry segments. (The Economic Times is the largest business publication in India and it is part of The Times of India Group.) For the Best Brands initiative in the metal cutting and metal forming sectors, it is supported with industrial editorial features from its sister publication, The Machinist magazine. Niranjan Mudholkar, Editor of The Machinist, added: "The Indian manufacturing industry today has a variety of options when it comes to choosing its metal cutting partners. However, with a gamut of Indian and international players competing in the market, how can the industry know which is the best brand for it?

"Therefore, in the best interest of the Indian manufacturing industry, The Economic Times can now offer a listing of the Best Brands in the Indian metal cutting industry."

The Best Brands series has already featured across different segments, such as banking and finance, education, infrastructure, technology, corporate, real estate, healthcare, as well as plastics and polymers. For more information visit: http://www.et-bestbrands.com/
