Jaquar Group expands its Bhiwadi plant

Making it world’s largest faucet manufacturing plant in a single unit

The Bhiwadi plant recently received the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Platinum certification for excellence in efficient and sustainable manufacturing by the United States Green Building Council

Jaquar Group announced the expansion of its manufacturing plant in Bhiwadi, Rajasthan on the eve of its 60th anniversary making it the world's largest faucet manufacturing plant in a single unit. The plant has a production capacity of manufacturing 1,25,000 faucets in a single day. 

As a true market leader, Jaquar Group plans to make this plant as one of the shining success stories of government's ambitious ‘Make in India' program where a company with origins in India has set up benchmark in manufacturing excellence. The Group has invested INR 150 Crores in expansion of the faucet manufacturing plant and another INR 150 Crores in setting up a new lighting manufacturing plant. The expansion has also led to the increase in employment opportunities and expansion of workforce.

On the occasion, Rajesh Mehra, Director & Promoter, Jaquar Group said "We are proud to announce the landmark expansion of our Bhiwadi plant. From a modest start of a small manufacturing unit in Old Delhi to the largest faucet manufacturing plant in the world under one unit is a successful journey for the Group over the last six decades. Since 1960, the Group has been constantly evolving and expanding their manufacturing capabilities, in an attempt to providing world class bathroom solutions to India and globally. Over the last six decades of excellence in manufacturing, the Group has established 6 state-of-the-art manufacturing units (5 in India & 1 in South Korea) spread over an area of 3,29,000 sq. metres. Equipped with modern machine and processes, the Jaquar Group plants employ cutting-edge technology for robotic grinding, synchronised operations and automatic polishing etc. Each of these processes streamline a high-level of sustainability and energy efficiency that highlights the core values of Jaquar Group. A dedicated recycling mechanism ensures that the zero-waste plant recycles 5,00,000 litres of water every day and 4221 metric tonnes (approx.) of brass every year.

The Bhiwadi plant recently received the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Platinum certification for excellence in efficient and sustainable manufacturing by the United States Green Building Council, which is also the highest level of honour for green buildings.

The Group is present in 45+ countries and is further expanding its global footprint by setting up orientation centres, in the form of Jaquar World's. Currently, the Group has set up 9 Jaquar World's (Milan, Dubai, Riyadh, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Bangladesh, Addis Ababa, Tunisia and Brunei) and is the process of opening more.
