Statiq has partnered with SBI to support financing for businesses to set up EV charging stations. This initiative simplifies investment in EV infrastructure for businesses and individuals by offering structured financing options.

Under this scheme, SBI will provide term loans ranging from Rs10 lakh to Rs 5 crore at concessional interest rates, with an additional 2 per cent interest subvention for loans up to Rs 2 crore. Eligible applicants include MSMEs, fuel stations, hotels, restaurants, commercial spaces, and office buildings. The funding covers Public Charging Stations (PCS), Captive Charging Stations (CCS), and Battery Swapping Stations at both public and private locations.

For amounts up to Rs 5 crore, coverage under the Credit Guarantee Fund Trust for Micro and Small Enterprises (CGTMSE) is available. Women-led businesses with over 50 per cent ownership will benefit from a 10-basis-point reduction in interest rates.

Akshit Bansal, CEO & Founder of Statiq, said, "A strong EV charging network is crucial for India's clean energy transition. This partnership with SBI empowers businesses to contribute to sustainable transport. Competitive financing will accelerate charging station deployment, and user-friendly amenities like restrooms and cafeterias will make charging stops more convenient. Statiq is proud to collaborate on this initiative and drive wider adoption to strengthen India's EV ecosystem."

By making funding more accessible, SBI is enabling businesses to play a pivotal role in strengthening India's green mobility goals. Aligned with the Ministry of Power's guidelines, this initiative ensures compliance with safety norms and fire protection measures.
