AMTEX 2018, the biennial machine tools and engineering exhibition in India will be held between July 6th- 9that Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. This edition will introduce three Co-located shows-Intertool, Q MET and Automation & Robotics. In addition to participating countries like UK, Japan, Netherlands, Italy, Korea, Germany, Turkey & Singapore, it will showcase two international pavilions for China and Taiwan showcasing their products and technological acumen.
According to Gardner Business Media survey 2017, India is ranked 12th in production and 8th in the consumption of machine tools globally. And with the government's continuous emphasis on Make in India and Manufacturing, AMTEX is likely to provide a platform to bring together industrialists and knowledge leaders from the machine tools and engineering sector. This biennial event will primarily focus on end user industries like automotive, power, electrical equipment, textile machinery and consumer goods. Two leading associations, the Association of Ludhiana Machine Tools Industries (ALMTI) and the Association of German Tool Manufacturers are supporting AMTEX 2018 reinforcing its commitment for the industry.
