Dow India recognised among best companies for women and most inclusive companies in 2024

This year's evaluation included 361 companies across various industries

Dow Chemical International Pvt. Ltd. (Dow India) has been honoured as one of the Best Companies for Women in India (BCWI)—Manufacturing, inducted into the Hall of Fame (5 years in Best Companies), and featured in the Most Inclusive Companies Index (MICI) for 2024 by Avtar & Seramount. 

This year's evaluation included 361 companies across various industries, highlighting Dow India's significant contributions to fostering an inclusive environment where women can thrive. 

"We are delighted to be recognised as one of the Best Companies for Women in India—Manufacturing, as well as for being inducted into the Hall of Fame and the Most Inclusive Companies Index. These accolades underscore our commitment and actions towards creating an inclusive work culture at Dow," said  Chandrakant Nayak, CEO and Country President, Dow India. "Embracing diversity drives economic growth and fosters unique solutions that benefit all stakeholders. We are proud to have more women in leadership roles and to promote a workplace where diverse perspectives thrive, enabling us to positively impact society and work towards a more equitable future." 

At the launch of the 9th edition of BCWI, Dr. Saundarya Rajesh, Founder-President of Avtar Group, remarked: "India today stands at a unique juncture with respect to women's workforce participation. Commenting on the MICI study, Subha V.
