Grew Energy collaborates with IIT Bombay

Grew Energy joins hands with IIT Bombay to advance innovation and excellence in photovoltaic technology

The leading photovoltaic (PV) module manufacturing company, Grew Energy Private Limited recently announced a strategic alliance with the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay (IIT). With a key emphasis on solar cell, module manufacturing, performance characterisation and reliability assessments, this partnership targets to advance innovation and excellence in photovoltaic technology.

The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between the two companies will enable driving technological advancements through joint initiatives in knowledge management, education programmes and technology development. Joint consultancy and research projects are the key aspects of this alliance.

Along with supporting internships, intellectual property licensing, and research initiatives, the collaboration will also establish an ecosystem that will focus on manufacturing, performance evaluation, reliability testing, and workforce training. All these crucial areas will foster India's renewable energy landscape.

Speaking about the partnership, Vinay Thadani, Director and CEO of Grew Energy, said, "This collaboration with IIT Bombay underscores our commitment to innovation and leadership in the solar energy sector.
