Trelleborg Sealing Solutions India has announced the promotion of Vinay Balakrishnan to the position of General Manager, effective August 1, 2024. Balakrishnan, who previously served as the Director of Sales, will succeed Ranjan Sen, who retired on July 31, 2024, after a distinguished tenure with the company.
Balakrishnan, who has been a pivotal force in Trelleborg Sealing Solutions India's growth strategy, will now spearhead the company's operations across the country. His promotion is seen as a strategic move to drive the next phase of growth and innovation for the company.
With nearly 30 years of extensive experience in the industrial sector, particularly within the sealing & bearing industry, Balakrishnan brings a wealth of knowledge and strategic insight to his new role. He began his career in 1996 with Rane Brake Linings before transitioning into the sealing & bearing industry with prominent companies such as Fenner India Ltd, Timken India Ltd, and Freudenberg NOK India. His career has been marked by significant contributions in sales, business development, and strategic management.
He joined Trelleborg Sealing Solutions as Director Sales in Jul 2022. At Trelleborg Sealing Solutions, Balakrishnan is recognised for his exceptional skills in managing complex sales operations and crafting client-centric solutions. His proven track record of delivering results and building robust customer relationships underscores his reputation as a leader in the industry. He holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and holds a post-graduation in Business Administration.
