The new Amritsar touchpoint also comes equipped with 11 service bays that can cater for body and paint repairs, vehicle service and maintenance along with the need for required spare parts.

Volkswagen Passenger Cars India inaugurated a new customer touchpoint in Amritsar, further expanding its footprint in the state of Punjab. The development comes as a part of the brand's push to make its products and services accessible to a wider base of customers across India.

Led by Saravdeep Lally, dealer partner, the new outlet will operate as a 3S (Sales, Spares and Service) facility with a staff of 40 sales and service executives trained to actively engage with customers. The touchpoint will also feature a four-car display, showcasing the 5-star GNCAP-rated Volkswagen Virtus sedan and Taigun SUVW as well as the Brand's globally popular flagship, the Tiguan. The outlet will also have the newly introduced variants, like the Taigun GT Line and Taigun GT Plus Sport on display for customers to experience.

Ashish Gupta, Brand Director of Volkswagen Passenger Cars India said, "The inauguration of our newest touchpoint in Amritsar highlights our dedication to fulfilling an increasing demand for premium, safe, and reliable vehicles throughout India. Punjab is an important region for Volkswagen, owing to its demand for SUV body styles making it relevant for our products such as the Taigun and Tiguan. We are confident of providing exceptional services to our customers with our new dealership in Amritsar."

Creating a hassle-free experience for customers, the new Amritsar touchpoint also comes equipped with 11 service bays that can cater for body and paint repairs, vehicle service and maintenance along with the need for required spare parts. This touchpoint also offers Express Service and door-step service with Volkswagen Assistance to save customers from the hassle of visiting the workshop for small on-site repairs, breakdown assistance and other related service jobs.

Its opening also takes the Volkswagen Brand's footprint to 213 sales and pre-owned car and 145 service touchpoints across 158 cities in India.
