Chemetall, a leading surface treatment supplier and global business unit of BASF's Coatings division, expanded its Aluminum Competence Center in Hamm, Germany. The new state of the art facility meets the quality requirements of the Aluminum Finishing industry, such as GSB or Qualicoat and strengthens Chemetall's position as a global supplier of choice in surface treatment.

"After acquiring the anodizing business of CHEMAL in 2015, this extension of the Competence Center and investment in ultra-modern technology further supports our global presence in this key industry," says Martin Ings, Global Segment Manager Aluminum Finishing. The Hamm site is fully dedicated to research and development projects and plays a key role in the growth of Chemetall's global Aluminum Finishing business.
