Tata Consultancy Services, a leading global IT services, consulting and business solutions organisation, has set up a business process service (BPS) centre in Patna under the India BPO Promotion Scheme (IBPS), envisaged under the Digital India programme, to leverage IT industry's growth to create new opportunities for India's talent and drive inclusive growth.

The TCS centre was inaugurated today by Ravi Shankar Prasad, Minister of Law and Justice and Minister of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India.

The TCS centre in Patna is one of three such BPS centres being set up by TCS, with the other two located at Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh and Nashik in Maharashtra.
