Stefan Steenstrup has been appointed the new President of global cutting tool manufacturer Dormer Pramet.

Stefan's appointment marks the end of more than 30 years association with the company for Fabrizio Resmini, who started his career as managing director of SKF and Dormer in Italy. He became managing director of Dormer Tools Italy, holding the role for several years, before being appointed President of Dormer Group in 2001.

Fabrizio led Dormer's merger with indexable carbide tooling specialist Pramet three years ago, and has guided the development of the new company within the industry as Dormer Pramet President.

Stefan added: "Fabrizio's energy and contributions will be greatly missed. We wish him a happy and healthy retirement. Our success in recent years is a direct result of Fabrizio's leadership and he leaves us a strong company, ready to take on the future."
