"We have been here in India and working closely with the Indian dairy industry over 30 years now. Our focus is to provide value to our customers and contribute to their growth.
"Our commitment to our customers is to ensure they consistently deliver safe and hygienic products to the market. We pioneered aseptic technology, and with our global experience, deep insights and strong partnerships with local customers, we believe we have the right products and services to ensure our customers' continued success," said Tetra Pak South Asia Markets Managing Director Kandarp Singh.
Over the two days, the 80 customers representing leading co-operative and private dairy companies were shown around Tetra Pak's Chakan facility - recognised by the Indian Green Building Council as a Platinum LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design)-equivalent certified facility.
The Chakan facility houses an aseptic packaging material manufacturing factory, a straw factory, a product development and innovation centre, a filling machine renovation centre, a processing systems manufacturing workshop and operator training academies.
