Gestamp conducted an in-depth assessment of all the processes involved in its product development value chain, from the initial customer order until all pieces enter the manufacturing stage. As a result of its findings, the company decided to implement a global PLM solution capable of efficiently and effectively managing all of the identified processes within the major functional areas of its products' lifecycles.

Teamcenter will allow Gestamp to improve efficiencies and increase its productivity by establishing a global standard for its product and production management system, unifying the systems' infrastructure along with its customer relations model.
