Hannover Messe 2016 is just around the corner and exhibitors are gearing up for the big event. Bosch is planning to showcase ‘the factory of tomorrow' at the show. With the theme of connected factory, the company will exhibit sensors in manufacturing, flexibly adjustable assembly systems, and a new intelligent and connected workstation with an integrated robot. The individual stations are digitally networked and exchange manufacturing data with each other. Central to all of this is a focus on the concrete benefit for customers, for example higher productivity thanks to predictive maintenance or improved quality control.
