Tata Consultancy Services, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., Resil Chemicals Pvt. Ltd and Envision Scientific Pvt. Ltd., were among winners of the CII Industrial Intellectual Property Awards for 2015. Tata Consultancy Services won the award for the top patent driven industry in the category of large enterprises while Envision Scientific Pvt. Ltd. won the same award for the SME category. Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. was conferred the awards for top trademark driven and top design driven industry amongst large enterprises. On the other hand Resil Chemicals Pvt. Ltd. won the award for top trademark driven industry amongst SMEs.

The awards constituted for the first time by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), given every year to industries at the forefront of using intellectual property as a tool for fueling growth and expansion. Comprising of a trophy and a citation, the awards are evaluated on the basis of number of IPRs granted / registered in India and abroad, the IPR management practices, R&D and monetization of intellectual property.
